The Strategic Framework outlines a vision that all students will graduate high school prepared for college, career, and community.  Data use is critical to support collaborative teams of educators, especially when making decisions on behalf of students.  Further, data is helpful for driving the progress of projects or initiatives underlying all five Strategic Framework Priority areas (not just Accountability).  And "data" is not just about assessments!

To use data the most effectively, staff must be provided with opportunities for deep learning in this area, which includes resources on-demand that are updated amidst changes and which are applicable to the MMSD context.  The Data Corner and corresponding guides and resources are designed to help staff at all levels of the district – including Central Office, School-Based Leadership Teams (SBLTs), Teacher Teams, principals, and teachers – locate and analyze key data to help inform their decision-making and practices, especially as they relate to School Improvement Plans and the Central Office Measures of Performance.

The central tenet of the Data Corner is to empower individuals to fearlessly delve into data.  Click the links below to access the newly updated and interactive Data Use Guides and the updated Data Use Resources.
